We know cost is top of mind when it comes to your business. We have two pricing models – Contingent or Retained. In the contingent model, there’s no upfront cost, which means you’ll only pay us if you choose to hire one of the candidates we present to you. We don’t have a set fee. Our exact fees are based upon our determination of how challenging each search will be, as well as our projection of the time it will take to complete the search. These fees can range from 20% to 30% of the guaranteed compensation of the employee.
In the retained model, the client generally pays around 25% of the expected fee upfront as a non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the fee is typically due when the search is completed. Retained searches do receive priority over contingent searches.

 

SalesMerit only works on permanent placement engagements.

 

Although, we love the opportunity to be your exclusive partner and prove ourselves, we certainly understand some clients have existing relationships in place. Most of our clients quickly see the difference in candidate quality and service levels and in the majority of our engagements, companies ultimately choose SalesMerit as their exclusive agency.

 

The majority of our engagements are successfully completed within three to four weeks with the occasional search taking a bit longer. This is completely dependent on the complexity of the search and the client’s level of commitment to the agreed-upon interview process.

 

Yes, we have a replacement guarantee if the candidate leaves within the agreed amount of time from start date.
